Milton School is part of The Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT), we have a Local Governing Body (LGB) which operates under a scheme of delegation agreed by the trust. You can find more details about DEMAT on the Trust website at http://www.demat.org.uk/.

Mr Bob Ball

Bob has been a Milton resident for over 15 years and has a daughter who joined Milton Primary School in reception in 2020. He’s a Product Manager at a large software development company. Bob is keen to use his experience to support the school and the governing body for the benefit of all who attend the school.
Mr David Cottingham

David has two children at Milton Primary School and has lived in the village since 2010. He was co-opted onto the governing body in November 2022.
A technologist by background, David holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, and is now Chief Product & Technical Officer at an AIM-listed software company. He has experience in leading large global teams, crafting strategy, and managing budgets. A practising Christian, he attends Holy Trinity church in Cambridge.
David is hoping to support the school and governing body in achieving the vision of life in all its fullness for each pupil.
Mrs Annette Farrell

Netty has lived in Milton since 2013 and her daughter attends Milton C of E Primary. She’s worked in education for more than 20 years, currently in an education policy role at a charity and professional body. Prior to this, she was a secondary school biology teacher. Netty hopes to use her experience to help the school thrive.
Mrs Janay Fehr

Janay joined the governing body in November 2018 as a parent governor. She has lived in Milton since 2012 and her son is currently in reception at Milton Primary School.
Janay brings to the role her experience as a secondary Maths teacher. She is a former head of faculty and is currently lead practitioner for a multi-academy trust of secondary schools in Cambridge.
Janay would like to be able to use her experience to help the school achieve its aims and to contribute towards the learning and development of the young people in the community of Milton.
Mrs Sarah Michael

28th June 2023 to 28th June 2027
Sarah has two children at Milton C of E Primary and joined the Board of Governors in 2023. Sarah became a governor to support the school, staff and leadership team to deliver the best possible experience for pupils.
In her professional life, Sarah manages local museum The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey. The museum is a charity run by a volunteer Board of Trustees, providing Sarah with an in-depth understanding of how volunteer-led and charitable organisations operate. She was also a member of the Milton Cygnets Committee.
Having graduated with an MA in European Union Politics, Sarah has also worked across both the public and private sectors in a variety of political research and policy-making roles.
Sarah has lived in Milton for 14 years and feels proud to be part of such a vibrant village community, which has the school at its heart. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her family or out running with friends.
Mrs Helen Clubb

She has a son who is currently in Year 2. Helen originally trained as a physicist and has over a decade of experience working in business consultancy, specialising in innovation and technology. Outside of work, her favourite things are cooking and building lego with the rest of her family. She is very excited about the opportunity to contribute to the school and the community as a governor.
